The Table of Contents for both Heroes of Faerun and Adventures in Faerun.

Picked the books up this morning and love what I’ve seen so far. I’ll answer whatever questions I can here.

It is not very oriented. Almost no mention of the plot of BG3, except for some very vague stuff. Hell, it directly contradicts the plot, with a key BG NPC that canonically dies in BG3 stated to be alive still.
Thanks for the info. Moves it from a maybe to a no, so definitely helpful.

In a world of Resurrection spells, that is easy to ret-con.

18 backgrounds, 8 of them have a new origin feat attached. Those 8 origin feats have a General feat that needs the origin feat as a prerequisite.
So, some backgrounds come with a specific feat. But other backgrounds let you choose the feat?

All praise to Mike Schley! Does anybody know how big the printed map (or maps?) will be? Is it focusing on the greater Sword Coast or is it comparable to the maps from the 3E and 4E FR campaign books?
The map covers basically the 1e/2e era maps - basically all of Faerûn outside the very southernmost coastal areas like Halruaa and Liuren (which get arrows and mentions, though).
