Struggling to Find the Resources

I have spent years designing a homebrew ruleset that has morphed into a quasi system. It works well and needs continual tweaks but those are fewer and farther between. I want to make it into something I could sell, but I just don't have the connections or know-how generally for it. It feels sometimes like I am staring up at a mountain and wondering how on earth I could ever climb it, and I was curious on what others experiences in overcoming this were?

Matt Colville's recent video on participating in communities to build a fanbase, then build and maintain your own community, seems like it might be helpful. Once you build a community, it will tend to naturally include people who have other skills you need (like, say, layout, art, or editing) to help you get over the hump.

Sorry for the late response! I think I've honestly been trying to figure out what exactly I do need. I know some resources that I have been unsure of where to start looking (I definitely am interested in finding people for art commissions and things like that!) but beyond that, it almost feels like a "I don't know what I don't know" kind of situation.

I'll probably learn best by just throwing myself into it and seeing where things end up. That Matt Coleville vid is really helpful there!
