So here is my players guide for upcoming game.


Be it so known that the bearer of this charter has been charged by the Lord Huntsilver of Arabel, acting upon the greater good and authority vested within them by the office of the Queen of Cormyr, has granted the right of exploration and travel within the wilderness region known as the Stonelands. Exploration should be limited to an area no further than thirty-six miles north and west and sixty miles west of Oleg’s Trading Post. The carrier of this charter should also strive against banditry and other unlawful behavior to be encountered. The punishment for unrepentant banditry remains, as always, execution by sword or rope. So witnessed on this 24th day of Mirtul, under the watchful eye of the Lordship of Arabel and authority granted by QueenRaedra Obarskyr of Suzail, current Ruler of the Dragonscale Throne.

Kingmaker: Legacy of Netheril
The Netherese Empire collapsed over 1800 years ago only to be reborn with the return of the city of Shade in 1371 DR. The current date is1501DR. For over 100 years the reborn empire dominated Anauroch and Sembia while serving Shar. Relief came with the collapse of the reborn empire. The city of Shade fell onto Myth Drannor a unleashing wild magics in Anauroch reversing the shadow magic transforming that land.

TheCormyr crown has decried that the frontiers are to be resettled. The crown has decided to sponsor expeditions into the Stone Lands. Grants of titles will be made along with support for building a bastion. Lost Netherese ruins and the fall of their second empire leave a legacy of artifacts and lost knowledge behind. Goblins are alsoreputed to be in the area. Once the area is secure a company ofPurple Dragon Knights and supplies will be made available.

Added Rules Bastions, DeadMagic and Wild Magic zones are being used (page 68 DMG). Magic item creation rules.

House rules. Origins have floating +2/+1ability scores. Gish classes (Arcane Tricksters, Valor Bard, Bladesingers, Eldritch Knights, Bladelocks etc) can ignore the S parts of spells. They can treat their weapon or shield as an arcane focus.

Magic Items Magic items and vendors will be available. Expect more arcane/wizard type items than typical(scrolls, potions, spell books etc). Expect less powerful items than previous campaign but higher frequency of common and uncommon items.
