The Multiverse is real and your cadre is the only thing standing between the world we know and the dangerous reaches of other dimensions. In a constantly shifting battlefield, you execute missions by infiltrating compounds, gathering intel, reaching your objectives and then getting the hell out. Your Oracle sits offsite, but stays in constant communication, able to leverage stronger resources to help you get the job done.

Along the way, you will discover dangerous enemies, uncover dark secrets, and maybe even struggle against yourself. But you have an edge: You’re trained to breach into other dimensions and change things to your advantage. Be careful though; if you change too much,
the Multiverse has a way of fixing itself.

Black Bag Features:
  • Reality-warping powers that let players alter the narrative
  • Dimensional Glitches that make things weird & complicated
  • A shared Role, The Oracle, that all players can control
  • An immersive roleplaying experience powered by Polymorph
  • A premade mission and the tools to craft your own
  • Fast and easy character creation

For the next three days, you can get d20Monkey's Kathun: Lands of Conflict for 50% off! Go check it out before the sale ends!

From the Pages of d20Monkey

Karthun: Lands of Confict is an arcanepunk, high-magic/high-fantasy campaign setting created and brought to life by Brian Patterson in the pages of the 10-year TTRPG webcomic series d20Monkey. In the series, Karthun was created and introduced by the series GM, Sam, but in reality, Karthun is the homebrew campaign setting Brian Patterson has been working on since he was a teenager, drawing inspiration from classic D&D settings, novels, and horror.

Karthun needs heroes. Will you heed the call?

Karthun_Page13.jpg

Karthun was once a land of peace and prosperity. Then the release of the Worldfire and the breaking of the planes ushered in the Age of Conflict. Now, rulers wage war against the legions of the Three Demon Kings, ravenous undead horrors…and each other. Karthun needs heroes to stand against the darkness, but to be a hero in Karthun is to be a legend, for even the gods can perish here. All that awaits the fallen is the cold, eternal embrace of The Mother of the Dead.

Karthun: Lands of Conflict is an extensive epic fantasy setting for use with your favorite system such as Fate, D&D, Pathfinder, or Savage Worlds. You must own a system book of your choice to play.

Inside, you’ll find plenty of character ideas, locations, and NPCs to send your characters off on adventures galore.

This book includes:

• Plenty of international strife and potential controversy to fuel a political intrigue plot, an extensive spy network designed to support campaign espionage, and warring nations to build epic battle campaigns

• Smaller locations and story seeds to support one-shots or shorter campaigns

• A sample bestiary, including new creatures like the Worldfire Hound and the Spinesnatcher, for your adventurers to defeat

• A variety of potential player character races and classes, including a new race, the Illyn

• Karthun technologies to bring a new twist to the standard fantasy campaign

• An adventure template to help you build your campaigns, as well as a starter adventure: The Black Cabinet.

From now until the end of January, you can get Gamer Guy Games' Billions and Billions of Zombies: The Ultimate Zombie Generator for 75% off! Check it out before the sale ends!

Version 1.6 (January 2026)

Designed for Neon Lords of the Toxic Wasteland, but easily adaptable for any OSR role-playing game, this is the ultimate zombie generator spreadsheet. It mashes over 300 zombie types with over 300 traits and mutations to build over 360 Billion unique zombies for your games. If you are a GM who needs an interesting zombie for your game, this is the tool for you. Got writer’s block while filling out an encounter in your adventure? Then look no further.

Fish-man Zombie, House Cat Zombie, Jet Pack Zombie

You could play a lifetime of games without ever encountering the same zombie twice.

Whether you need a horrifying or gonzo zombie, you are sure to find it here.

NOTE: This spreadsheet is a Microsoft Excel file. It will not open in Google Sheets.

Virtually Endless Variety: Generated zombies are not only defined by their type and traits/mutations they also have one of over 240 “flairs” which are how they appear…dry and dusty, slimy, riddled with bullet holes, etc. Additionally, some zombies can convey random effects by way of curses or chemicals (from a list of 500 chemicals that have game-altering effects). Other random effects are that zombies may have spells they can cast, or potions they are carrying. So, the variations are practically beyond numbering.

Three Ways to Create Zombies: There are three ways to generate zombies. One generator allows you to pick the number of traits/mutations you want (from 0 to 3), and the generator will randomly select the zombie type and fill in that many traits/mutations. Another generator allows you to pick the Zombie Type and the number of traits/mutations…this is great when you have a particular zombie type in mind. And the third generator lets the Khaos Winds blow, randomizing both the zombie type and the number of traits/mutations. Each generator creates 6 different random zombies, so you always have a few from which to choose.

Each Zombie entry includes the following:
  • Stat block – Neon Lords of the Toxic Wasteland stats (easily adaptable to other OSR game systems.
  • Description – A bit of flavor text and background about the zombie and any needed rules details.
  • Mutation/Trait Descriptions – Rules on what the zombie’s traits/mutations do.
  • Flair – How the zombie appears. Most of this is just color, but some flairs do add game effects.
  • To The Max! table (Critical Hits): Each zombie type has a custom critical hit table. Awesome!
  • Spells or Potions: If the zombie has spells or potions, this is what they have.
  • Chemicals: If the zombie is either under the influence of chemicals (or dispenses chemicals), all the details of the chemical are provided (effect, duration, secondary effect, etc.).
