Creating original characters with diverse influences is much better than directly copy-pasting existing characters, especially when those characters have to basically be re-written to fit into your setting anyway.

It wouldn’t surprise me, but I took them as a reference to the real life fox sisters.

Sounds like an adventure to set within Hazlan, with a pseudo (shadow) Zass Tam to show up to irritate ol' Hazlik until the dark lord can trick some young students at the Thayian Academy to do his dirty work and eliminate the lich lord.
