like on Humble bundle? Yeah...I was thinking that. Alternatively do the subscriptions where you get physical and then PDF is free.

Yeah, it's not that rare for there to be PDF-only Pathfinder 2E bundles on Humble Bundle (and now Fanatical, which currently has a PF2e bundle up). I haven't noticed any Starfinder 2E bundles yet, but there probably will be once the system is older and there's more official content available. Considering that one can (legally) read rules text and stat blocks on Archives of Nethys, it's less urgent to own a copy of the rules for either system, so it's easier to wait for a bargain.
