As some of you might be aware, the earnings call is scheduled tomorrow at 6:00 EST and 10:00 GMT. It will be the first quarter result of 2026.

For the uninitiated, an Earnings Call is a teleconference where executives (CEO/CFO/etc) explain and present quarterly and annual financial results and company direction to the public and fields questions from investors and industry analysts. Since the person reporting is the CEO, these are usually not taken at face value, but they give information on what a CEO/CFO might want to communicate and NOT communicate to the public. (which is also actionable information either way)

So I thought it would be fun if ENWorld racked their brains and tried predicting what Chris Cocks will say about D&D for 2026 or Analysts will have questions about. Or whether anyone even cares about D&D over Magic: The Gathering at all. Just for fun and bragging rights.

With no D&D products released in Q1 it might be an interesting call. It possible they will touch on D&D and highlight money they made off just Beyond and such. Like "hey we made $XXXXX without releasing a product."

They might also lean heavily into future predictions and products coming up. You have to paint a rosy picture so focus on something new that should generate income.

My guess is that they will at least touch upon their big 2026 plans and sell the fact that they have "lots of exciting stuff in the pipeline" and how their (high margin) digital-first platform DDB is doing well. Maybe one two sentences at most.
