They came to the Material Plane and found the treasure there much to their liking. So much, in fact, that when the Obsidian Dragons retook the Plane of Baloria during the Balor uprising, most elected to stay on the Material Plane. The few that are left on the Plane of Baloria serve as mounts/fiendish servants for the Balor demons, a coexistence that is shaky, if not brutal at times, because of the Obsidian longing for gold and the Balor vow to protect their home plane from once again falling into the hands of Crystal Dragons and their riders, the Solar Angels. COMBAT The Obsidian Dragon hates frontal combat, preferring to kill creatures before they notice, using their three breath weapons in conjunction, as well as their inborn talents for melee combat. If no one is in their reach, the Uncontrolled Rage is over. Obsidian Dragons can only use their Mist of Chaotic Energy once per day.
