It's Nina! Woot!

A nice quick description of her for newer fans of the show by Jack. Also, the end scene, is it just me or could you feel the desperation in Jack's voice that Nina was going to get away? Again, if you hadn't seen the show from the beginning, it did a very good job of convincing you Nina did in fact kill Jack's wife.

Also, I loved the interplay between Hector, Jack, and Ramon. Always two of them squabbling, and one of them keeping them together, and the father role just keeps jumping characters. First Jack, then later on Ramon.

Poor Chase!

Also, Kim must die! I had hope she wouldn't be an annoying little prat this season. It is gone now.

And despite everything, Tony is being a complete ass. I could do without him. It's a large suspension of disbelief that he would be out of the hospital in the first place, having a fairly major surgery done just hours before. He'd probably be pretty sedated and weak, especially given the blood loss. Ah well, such is life in the 24-verse.

Yeah, I was rather unimpressed with the episode until the last five minutes and then it picked up considerably.

I'll go along with Tony running on adrenaline at this point, we've seen Jack do that more than once before, for me the piece that didn't make sense was the Salazars just being will to walk away from the deal on their home turf. If it had been a truly "neutral" location I could see it, but come on, these thug were where they live! I expected more "macho" from those guys.

And I am totally bored with the Palmer storyline. I understand that they are attempting to do a "brothers" theme, contrasting the Salazars to the Palmers, but the political games so far aren't even close to the level achieved on "The West Wing". I expect more from this show.

I found most of yesterday's episode to be rather "yawn-ish". Until the end...things picked up quite a bit and the little teaser for next week has me excited!

Poor, poor Jack. Should be interesting to see how he deals with Nina next week.

Could someone repost the link that was in one of the earlier "24" threads to that other "24" messageboard?

I tried to dig it up, but was unsuccessful. Little help?

They have shown him having problems, so I'd expect it to become more significant down the line. Still not what you'd expect from a guy shot in the neck earlier in the day.
