+1 Caster Level Ioun Stone?

So, the +1 Caster Level Ioun Stone, what exactly does it give my Sorcerer?

Increased known Spells?
Increased number of spells per day?
Increased caster level checks(dispel magic, SR, etc)?
Increased pre-requisites for Feats?
Increased pre-requisites for making magic items(Golems for instance)?

I think it's just +1 caster level for purposes of level checks, and possibly level based benefits from spells like fireball and such.

Nothing permanentish, though, like spells known, or prereqs for feats, in much the same way that a headband of intellect doesn't provide extra skill points.

your spells are cast as if you were 1 level higher thus increasing potentially your duration range youre basic spell effects.

... Not raising DC, actually. It affects durations, ranges, damage (if it's like d6/level or something), and caster level checks. That sort of thing. You can't get extra spells off of it.

The DC of your spells does not increase as your level increases. The formula for spell DC is: 10 + (level of spell) + (requisite attribute modifier).

Darn it I knew what I wanted to say in response, got busy at work brain goes on auto pilot.
.....yes It does indeed increase the level at which you cast there for influencing range height duration etc....there is a feat that allows multi class spell casters to cast at higher level..my cerebramancer has it...the name escapes but it does the same thing. THE DC IS NOT -

I assume you mean Practiced Spellcaster? It does roughly what you describe, yeah. The first time my GM used it, he didn't realize that it couldn't raise your caster level above your HD. That was a tough battle.
