Heh. It's not really relevant since the "12, not 20" clarification. But the funny thing is, my group just got finished playing a "20th level, anything goes" mini-campaign. We had to include in our background a reason for the gods to want to banish us, since the campaign took place in basically a "prison demi-plane." I was Ruvahk Khan, 20th-level fighter (samurai subclass), the bugbear king of a nomadic nation of mixed goblinoid races. At the height of our power, I commanded my shamans to open up a gate, whereupon my entire army of hundreds of thousands matched into Maglubiyet's realm to offer our services to him in conquering the other gods. Maglubiyet refused, which Ruvahk took a sign of cowardice, and attacked. Almost the entire horde died, but there were hundreds of thousands of us, so in the end Ruvahk and a select few survived and proved victorious. And we ate Maglubiyet. Oddly, the other gods didn't take too kindly to theophagy, so... banishment. But, yeah. As much as I prefer playing heroic characters, apparently that's the sort of character I create when told "20th level, short campaign, anything goes."
