Heh funny. I heard there was a Turkish version of Star Wars shown at Montreal's Fantastic Film Festival as well.

Hey it's not really fair to drag in poor quality remakes of american shows. How ever funny they might be. All the moments they mentioned were from big budget professional productions done by people who should have known, better. Though as they point out in most of them, if it had not happened there wouldn't have been a movie.

I spent 3 years in japan teaching english and trust me. Most of the stuff on Japanese TV makes the worst shows over here look like something on Masterpiece theater. I get the distinct impression that this is the case with TV in most of the world and probably goes a great way towards explaining why american shows are so popular world wide.

This list is kind of silly.

Despite a ship full of highly-intelligent technical and science people, the crew of the Nostromo decides not to quarantine their alien-toting buddy long enough to make sure there were no problems along the lines of, say, stomach erupting alien babies.

Hello, did they even watch the film? Ripley does demand a quarantine, which Ash ignores. They even have a little spat about it later in the film, as Ash is examining the dead "face hugger" in the lab.

I like lists like this--they're a lot of fun. But they need to get the basics correct before they add something to the list.
