He whipped out a scroll and recited it, centering the effects on himself. The area became engulfed in the flames of a fireball allowing the Cleric and rogue to escape. The Ghouls were turned to ash and by some miracle of luck (kick ass saving throws and a lot of hit points for the dwarf) both managed to survive. Mind you he wished he didn’t after what happened next. While downing some healing potions to recover their wounds the dwarf downed a potion that had been marked as a potion of cure light wounds but actually wasn’t. When Lorien offered the dwarf his hand to help him stand up he got a kiss planted on him. He spent the next few hours trying to avoid the dwarf as he had consumed a potion of love.
