We're not trying to ignore the ENworld community, we'd just like to make is more accessible to those outside the ENworld community. This includes the majority of the Terrapin Gaming Club. In previous events we've had club members who have been unable to find the signup thread and have overall been frusterated with being forced to register via ENworld. We also had some difficulties last time with the thread not being updated correctly, so we're going for an automatic system where there are fewer bottlenecks. We're using warhorn.net for the registration this year (http://www.warhorn.net/terpconfall2005/), which a few of us have used before (as attendees) and have really liked. In all honesty if we had known that people were doing planning here we would have used that as a consideration when booking the room, but we can't make decisions based on things we don't know about. Attendees can currently register and declare their intent to come, but slot registration is disabled for a period of no less than two weeks to give GMs a chance to set up their games (a few people made it in while we were setting it up and I just don't have the heart to kick them out). I encourage you to register if you're planning on attending so we have a better idea how many people to expect. Once again, if you'd like to run a game contact me or email terpcon@gmail.com and we'll get your game listed. Andrew Beard terpcon@gmail.com
