I consider the Cloak of Resistance to be one of the better value items, that will benefit any character at any level. Anyone who isn't already using the Cloak slot should consider one, and those who are should go for the Vest of Resistance from Complete Arcane at the same price.The Travel Cloak, from one of the Forgotten Realms books, is a ludicrously useful utility item for the solo adventurer, and not too expensive as I recall - when you wear it, it protects you like an endure elements spell, then it converts to a tent at night, and provides daily rations too. I consider it underpriced, but if you happen to be playing in FR, go for it.I'd also consider the Bag of Tricks (Gray). None of the animals it produces are worth a damn in combat, but when you're on your own, even useless cannon fodder is better than no cannon fodder, and they're decent trap-springers and ambush-triggers.</blockquote>
