He's in charge of D&D and D20 Modern among other things. He didn't really speak about the future of either game, in fact the interview was completely devoid of any substance, he talks a lot but says nothing. He did state that game lines like D20 Modern have had their staff reasigned to other games. IIRC the writers moved on to the latest edition of Star Wars. It sounds like WotC has a very limited number of products to put out each year and they don't hire new staff very often, instead move the existing staff from project to project as needed. They also move staff to other non-rpg games like minis and card games. What ever is most profitable. I get the feeling that RPG's are relatively small source of revenue when compared to minis and card games so they tend to be the first to suffer if another more profitable project comes along. A good example is the Star Wars RPG vs. the Star Wars minis. Guess where the money is? One other thing to note from the interview, he said that the anouncement at GenCon would only bring up more questions. Great. Prepare to be frustrated.</blockquote>
