1880's Sourcebook?

Anyone know of a good 1880's sourcebook for Europe for RPGs? It doesn't have to be an RPG sourcebook, just a book that could be used as a sourcebook on the 1880's.

Does this make any sense?

I'm thinking about having my next D&D3e campaign world based, pretty much, on the 1880's in Europe.

What about the Space: 1889 game? It has quite a bit of background and cultural stuff in it for the time period. A League of Extraordinary Gentlmen also has some neat stuff (though for the 1890s).

i just recently read all the h.g. wells books i could find (invisible man, time machine, war of the worlds, island of dr moreau - you know, all the ones that were made into movies!). those would help a lot, i think. :) although, i think, most of them were written in the 1890's, but hey that's pretty close. ;)

C'thulu by Gaslight is the only title I can remember. TSR did a Victorian England with magic setting for their Amazing Engine game. I completely forget what it was called though, which is a darn shame because it contained a lot of gamer-friendly material for the period. I think it was called For Farie, King, and Country, but on this issue I would sooner trust a madman with a butcher knife than my memory.

I'm sure GURPS has one. They have everything else!

Well, here's a link to the historical line of GURPS books.

They have a Napoleon, which is too early. They also have a Scarlet Pimpernel, which was written in the Vitorial period but takes place a little before Napoleon (as would the Three Musketeers).

There is also GRUPS: Castle Falkenstine, which I think has some Victorian stuff, but I have no idea how much.
