Though now that you’ve mentioned it, I spent about an hour reading their site and I think it is great! Thanks for mentioning it. He seems like a pretty smart guy! 1948 is based on ongoing research that started while I was writing Modern <a href="http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=2284&" target="_blank">Eras (1939-1945),</a> which contains some hints of the 1948 elements, such as death rays, occultists and super soldier templates.  It isn’t entirely unique of course, I’ve seen a few other game designers and writers that have fooled around with some of these same elements.
