1st level astral deva feat help

our group is about to start a first level campaign using the SS book and 3.5 rules.
I am starting an astral deva pc his stats are: Str 14 Dex 15 Con 14 int 14 wis 14 char 14. Has 10 HP and 15 AC. I'm going to use a scythe as my weapon.
I am not sure what feat to select. Any suggestions are welcome. Also, is it correct to assume that an astral deva cannot fly until Lvl 4?

I'm not sure about some of the differences 3.0/3.5, bit IM3.0C i allow SS and recomend the MM feats for the charecters. In your case i would say either Power attack or Alertness (probably the former if you are combat oriented). As to the flying, not until 4th is a correct assumption.
