(When you've got THOSE kinds of players and NPCs)</p><p>-<a href="http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/goods-and-services/herbs-oils-other-substances#TOC-Incense" target="_blank">Incense</a>. (Found this useful when being tracked by animals, the scent drew them away from us as they investigated)</p><p>-<a href="http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/goods-and-services/herbs-oils-other-substances#TOC-Ooze-Petrified" target="_blank">Petrified Ooze</a>. (Situationally useful when I knew we were starting in an urban setting. Think "Wicked cockroach pest")</p><p>-<a href="http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/goods-and-services/herbs-oils-other-substances#TOC-Repellent-Vermin" target="_blank">Vermin Repellent</a>. (Vital in a campaign in Sargava where we knew contracting diseases from mosquitoes was a daily risk)</p><p>-<a href="http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/goods-and-services/toys-games-puzzles#TOC-Dice" target="_blank">Dice</a>. (great way to bond with new adventurers around that first campfire, interact with NPCs & possibly make money)</p><p>-<a href="http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/goods-and-services/toys-games-puzzles#TOC-Holy-Symbol" target="_blank">Wooden Holy Symbol</a>.
