Note: My recommendation to take keen relied on you taking improved crit asap. Keen on it's own isn't great. Keen + improved crit (+bless if you can get it) is worth it, on an 18-20 weapon, imho.
And like they said - it's fun!
It also depends on your dm - do you face dr or immune to crit monsters a lot?
If so, +2 all the way.
But since you describe yourself as a high attack bonus character, I'd bet you don't need that extra +1 to make a difference in hitting things, so....
Wish I could get a +2 rapier. Damned low magic world duelists....
