The Kings traded forward Pavol Demitra to the Minnesota Wild for Patrick O'Sullivan and the 17th pick in the draft. Demitra, 31, played scored 25 goals and 37 assists for 62 points in 58 games last season. It was a tough one for Demitra, who had health problems, including a bad eye injury. The Wild expect him to make a lethal partnership with Marian Gaborik. "I think it'll help them both be productive," Wild GM Doug Risebrough said shortly after making the deal. "They both are a good fit, they'll feed off each other. We think Marian's the best player on the team and we're trying to find ways to make him better." In 611 NHL games, Demitra has scored 241 goals, 340 assists and 581 points. He is a +106 in his career. O'Sullivan is a skilled player who was a second round pick last year.  He scored 47 goals and 93 points for Houston of the AHL last season. The Kings used the 17th selection to take USHL forward Trevor Lewis. He was the league MVP after scoring 75 points in 56 games.</blockquote>
