Day 10: Damophon is a Greek lyrist and poet from Classical Athens in 621 BCE. He believes in exercising both body and the mind. He was one step closer to playing an original composition at the theatre of Dionysos in Athens until he, and eleven other sapient beings, were timejacked (hijacked from time and space). They found themselves in a strange land known only as No Man's Land. He and the others are searching for a way home while avoiding the various hostile creatures that were also timejacked. This character is for the FASA Doctor Who RPG. Click on image to open PDF. When I first started working on this campaign idea, all I had were a bunch of sapient beings (humans and a few alien races) were timejacked to a weird place known as No Man's Land. I've expanded on the idea since then. No Man's Land is actually a TARDIS that has become "inverted." A Third Zoner faction (with aid from a renegade time lord) tried to hack and steal a prototype of an experimental Type 83 TARDIS, but they bungled it. They cause the TARDIS to malfunction in an unknown and strange way – the TARDIS turned itself inside out. Instead of going to other places and times, it has become a fix spot that allows those time periods to come to it. The heart of No Man's Land is a organic-like stone spire reaching out of the surrounding forest. This spire is a multi-level building with many chambers and strange doors. Each door opens to a different time period. In the heart of the building, hidden behind various tricks and traps, is the control room for the TARDIS (should it become fixed, the TARDIS would revert back to its normal, default composition). Those that were timejacked by the TARDIS were selected at random (or, is the TARDIS looking for allies to correct her fault?). Located in No Man's Land are the Third Zoner hackers lead by Dr. Jorlang and an unprincipled Time Lord named Typheneus. Cheers, Tim
