He has been exiled from his clan of warriors because he chose to walk the path of a scientist. His clan's loss is the crew of the Moon Maiden's gain. He comes from a long line of self-confessed car nuts. His dad, Rocket, taught Rikky all he knew about cars – driving and fixing them. Gregg Baxter was a geologist who was studying a crashed meteorite when an alien ooze emerged and infected him. The alien substance was a warrior-defender-spirit from a long forgotten cosmic war. The alien (calls itself The Forgotten) was absorbed through Gregg's skin into his body. It changed Gregg's body and mind into the metahuman that he is today - Wolf-Spider.
