So the corridor, which should now be in normal light for 20 square is reduced to dim light withing 5 square of the hound as his aura exits through the corridor and stops the diffusion of the light. And area that are in dim light (such as inside the the chambers) are now fully dark, affecting Nathan and Dagran.
