She is hot- that is why she is on the show.

Yeah, I know. I just can't help thinking/hoping there was more to it then that.

Truly an awesome show. The explosion on the horizon brought a tear to my eye, thinking of Mason's sacrifice for the lives of millions. Just as a visual effect, it was nicely done, not over the top.

Rest in peace, George Mason.

Big change from the pond scum he was last season.

I just want to share in the '24' love. It's one of the few shows I watch, and though I confess to not seeing every single episode, I catch enough to follow the story, and I'm never disappointed. Last night's show was no exception. Good stuff.

Check the official website, they have almost minute by minute run downs of what went on in each episode.

Just wanted to agree with everyone that Tuesday's 24 was top-notch. There were several stand-out scenes in this one.

I loved:

* Jack and Kim's goodbye. Very emotional, and played very well.

* George's denouement. He started the season as just as much a jerk as he was last season, but he really stepped up to the plate once he got sick. I went from hating him to respecting him in this season. I think George's character development is one of the high points of this season.

* The explosion. When President Palmer was told that he could see it out of the plane if he wanted, I asked my wife if, given the opportunity, she would watch a nuclear explosion. "No way," she said. I told her that the scientist in me would want to take advantage of such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I'd watch.

Then the explosion went off. Even seeing it on TV in a fictional context, it was troubling. What an awesome and terrible product of humankind.

Anyway, it's a great show. I'm interested in what direction they'll take it now.
