i just realize how wrong the tales of the lance box can be ( yeah, just now..many many years ago :\ )

what do u guys think about the racial adjustments for kender?
kender count as halfling, right?

so, what about the -15% climb walls racial penalty?

do you think its fair?

im using dragonlance adventures suplement, as it seems "less wrong" than Tales of the lance, but i have found nothing about this.

any ideas?

A lot about being a Kender comes down to Roleplaying; which is why there has only ever been one Kender in any game I've ever played. To me, Kender fall into that same group as the "dark, brooding quasi-evil guy that only seeks to hinder the rest of the party by doing annoying crap and then saying 'Well, I'm just playing my character, guys. I don't know what you're getting upset about.'"

I think the stats for Kender in TotL are fine, so long as you use them for NPCs only.

Kender are Dragonlance's equivalent of a halfling, yes.

I don't think it's accurate. Kender can climb, just as well, if not better, than anyone.

Then use the DLA version. 1e and 2e can be used together quite easily. I think that was one of my favorite AD&D versions of the kender. You might also look in the Complete Halfling's Handbook as well.
