D&D 3E/3.5 2e Players Option Books and D&D 3.5 Compatability?

Hello, quaint fellows. I was wondering if anyone here has attempted to incorporate any of the Players Option rules (i.e., sub-abilities, traits, advantage and disadvantge points, etc.) into either the 3.0 or 3.5 D&D systems.

Further, does anyone know what the likelihood is of an eventual Players Option series for 3.5 or beyond?

Thanks!

A lot of Player's Option stuff made it into 3(.5)E in the form of skills, feats, or the new multiclassing rules. Unearthed Arcana (coming... soon) is supposed to be the "book of optional rules" for 3.5E. I know it will present the traits as an option (although each trait is automatically coupled with a disadvantage, there is an example on the WotC site), but I doubt the subabilities will be making a comeback.

Hey, thanks for the response! Yeah, I didn't stop to think about it, but I guess now that 3E allows ability scores to increase with level, there's less of a desire to have subabilities that can go as low as 10 and as high as 20. Still, it'd be a trip to actually add these to the system. Us humans delight in making things much more complicated than they should be!
