Spiders! (Final Round) Kyl shakes his head slightly, he hated spiders. He steeled his emotions and lashed out at the nearest spider. Kyl's weapon squishes the loathsome creature into a mixture of broken chitin and pulpy ichor. Lars pulls back on his axe after cleaving the spider in twain, hears Menno's cry, and looks about for a few seconds to assess things. Then he moves closer to Orinar and carefully swings the outer edge of his axe into and through the spider nearby. "You okay there, Menno?" he says while looking back to the sorcerer. "I'll be better when these things are dead!" Menno replied. At the same time Lars slays the spider attacking the half-giant, Orinar cries, "Damnable vermin!" The half-giant jerks back away from the spider an instant after Lars kills it. Orinar's sudden movement costs him, and his blade sends bits of dirt and undergrowth flying into the air! Almost as quickly as the fight started, it ends. Menno twists about, looking this way and that for a foe, but none present themselves. A quick check of Menno's injury clearly shows the swelling, purple ring around the bite wounds. Whether sufficient venom to cause harm has entered Menno's system remains to be seen. [sblock=Combat Box]Initiative Order: Kyl (13), Lars (9), Orinar (9), Spiders (6), Menno (6). Menno: 1 lethal, plus make another Fort save in 10 rounds. There is time for appropriate character action, such as a Heal check. So far, Menno has suffered no ill effects from the poison. Spiders: 4 down. [/sblock] [sblock=XP Earned] 75 XP each. Huzzah!
