Reinforcements! (Round 4) Seeing that his time has run out, Menno moves so that he gets as clear shot as possible with all combatants in narrow confines of the hallway at the same time putting some distance between himself and spiritual weapon. He mumbles few arcane words and his hands burst into fire. But as he points it toward enemy cleric, fire sputters and dies, dissipating in harmless embers around Menno. "Uh, oh" is all he can manage as he ducks yet another swing of strange weapon. Orinar growls against the pain of the hobgoblin's strike, and slams his foot down on the floor of the corridor, triggering a psychokinetic shock that threatens to send the three remaining opponents tumbling to the ground. Unfortunately, the hobgoblins agiley ride out the tremor. Lars waits for an opening, which presents itself shortly as Kyl rushes forward. His kukri flashes and clangs! against a hobgoblin's helmet. The creature snarls in pain and noticeably wobbles on its feet. Lars grits his teeth and sees Orinar suffer further wounds, while he and Kyl took down the ape. "Good work! Press onward! Heironeous, let this warrior fight on a little longer to victory!" the paladin says, reaching out to place a hand on Orinar's back and channel the Archpaladin's vitality into him, closing the wounds but leaving plenty of their pain for now. The floating morningstar gives chase, swinging at Menno, who manages to evade what looked to be a truly powerful attack. The foremost hobgoblins divide their attention between Kyl and Orinar. Kyl sidesteps a sword thrust, making Orinar look all the more clumsy by comparison. The half-giant feels steel again. Surely if not for his banded mail, he'd have been cut to ribbons by now. As it is, even Orinar's great strength flags after the punishment he's taken. In the rear, the hobgoblin cleric starts to chant. His words are terrible to hear.
