Hello folks! I know the Blackguard is generally considered a quite weak PrC, but in a Campaign I am about to master (and which features only mediocre optimizing players) I want to use an undead Paladin 1 / Blackguard 10 / Undead Racial Hit Dice 5 (Total Level: 16). //for those who are curious: The 5 Undead Hitdice come from an adaption in the death knight template: I'm probably just swapping out the LA5 with Undead Hitdice 5, to compensate for HP, etc. See here for more. The feat choices I have come up since are the following: 1. Able Learner (Sounds strange, but it is necessary due to some House Rule adjustments I have made. Let's just quietly accept this one here..) Power Attack (Necessary for Blackguard) 3. Improved Sunder (Necessary for Blackguard) 6. Cleave (Necessary for Blackguard) 9. Mounted Combat (Well.. Don't know.. Prereq for more funnier mount-feats) 12. Divine Vigor (to help offset the missing Con Bonus a little bit) 15. Combat Brute (Blackguards already have the prerequs, so why not take it and make use of good boni) Are there some jewel-choice-feats for a Blk I have since greatly overlooked? I already had a look at other Divine Feats in Complete Warrior. They are nice, but apart from Divine Vigor they are not what I had in mind. Unfortunately, Battle Blessing from Complete Champion is Paladin only. As Blackguard PrC says "... spellcasting like a cleric" I guess thats out RAW. //would be perhaps otherwise if it stated "like a paladin". Edit: Oh, and he is human and all books allowed. Thank you!
