You, my Glorious Champions, must find out exactly what this cave is, what is causing the monsters to come forth, who is responsible, and how to prevent further incursions. You alone can defend Bloodscale Clan."</em></p><p></p><p><strong><span style="color: limegreen">Characters</span></strong></p><p>Looking for four players. All characters must be kobolds. See the next post for kobold race information.</p><p></p><p>Characters start at 3rd-level with 2500 gold to buy equipment. PH, DMG, Complete Adventurer, Complete Arcane, Complete Divine, Complete Warrior, and Expanded Psionics Handbook only are allowed.</p><p></p><p>Use the elite array for ability scores: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, and 8. Don't forget to apply racial adjustments. Maximum hit points at 1st level as normal plus another 9 hit points for 2nd and 3rd levels. Adjust for Constitution as usual. Characters start with 5750 XP, none of which can be used for item creation before the game starts.</p><p></p><p>We're ignoring alignment for this game.</p><p></p><p><strong><span style="color: limegreen">House Rules to Pay Attention To</span></strong></p><p>1. Armor bonuses do not add to AC. Instead, armor bonuses only convert lethal damage to nonlethal damage. For example, a chain shirt (+4 armor bonus) would convert 6 points of lethal damage into 2 points of lethal damage and 4 points of nonlethal damage.</p><p></p><p>2. Conjuration (Healing) spells and psionic powers with the Healing descriptor heal only nonlethal damage. Likewise for cure potions (and equivalent psionic items) and other similar items.</p><p></p><p>3. Add BAB to AC as a dodge bonus.</p><p></p><p>4. Your characters do not have a character class. Instead, each character uses cleric base attack bonus progression. Select two good saves. You get 1d8 hit points for each level.</p><p></p><p>Instead of class features, select 4 feats at first level, plus one more feat for each level thereafter. Your character is proficient with all simple weapons but not with any type of armor or shields.
