Has there been a list of changes to the FR books in regards to 3.5? I have not seen it, but I also have not been looking for it until today. The stuff on the WotC site does not include FR.

Unfortunately, no. I think we will have to wait for the new FR handbook to get an official update to 3.5. New supplements at least are 3.5, so you got that going for you if you plan to use Underdark or Unapproachable East (Which I believe is 3.5... can't remember).

Well, there is not a lot that needs changing really. I'm running City of the Spider Queen and other than just making sure that NPC stats are in line, little else is changing. Really the only thing that needs 'converting' is monster DRs and that should be relatively straight forward.

I am about to run Dungeon's Adventure Path, the Shackled City, in FR and I am on a quest to find all the resources I can on the setting.
I was planning on using Greyhawk, since all the gods listed in the adventures are from greyhawk, but I am a little more familiar with the realms, although it has been YEARS sice I ran anything there.
How long, you may ask? I started a 6-year FR campaign with the old 1e grey boxed set when 2e first came out. I then shelved FR due to the massive amounts of material that followed and have been using various homebrew/piecemeal worlds since then.

Personally I approach the realms from a 3.0 forward perspective. I know there is a lot of material that came out in 2nd edition, but so many new things were added or tweaked for 3rd edition that I am basically ignoring everything prior to it and focusing on 3rd only.
I highly recommend Lords of Darkness, Faiths and Pantheons, and Races of Faerun. Those with the books you already have and you can run an FR feeling game anywhere in the realms. The source material is expanded in Silver Marches, Unapproachable East, Underdark, etc but those are very region specific.

I'd love to get all those books, but the wallet says NO! The only reason I'm using 3.5 is because of the Other Game Companies free SRD books. I refuse to buy another edition until I have too (i.e. my PHB falls apart!)

I've seen that referenced before, but did not have the patience to really dig through it. What is different? Anything?
