Message: <blockquote data-quote="violintides" data-source="post: 5576016" data-attributes="member: 6677188">Hello fellow D&Ders!  I am a bit of a newbie to D&D.  In the past I have only ever played a Neutral Good Cleric of Ehlonna and a Neutral Good Druid of Ehlonna.  I decided to break my normal barriers and try Lawful Good Cleric of Heironeous.  However, the RP isn't working out so well, and the party does not seem fit for this kind of character.I am travelling with a ranger naga (half elf, half naga), a zakya tribal protector (some kind of fighter I think?), a halfling rogue, a human fighter, and some kind of disembodied creature.  Apparently this has something to do with 4.0 campaign with us all having grown up in Fallcrest together or something so it's not supposed to be a big deal that I know about all these different things/people/creatures etc.  However, it's supposed to be that I did not know the half-elf (who shifts between half-elf and half-naga form and half elf normal form) can shift into a naga and that she EATS people.  Literally eats them!  I don't know what kind of penalties, if any, that she has for being a PC, but I just know she's a ranger and is pretty well powered (possibly overpowered).I've been told by other friends outside the game that I should seek aid from the church of Heironeous, who should then provide me with a paladin or two, and slay the beast.  But I'm not sure how to handle that.  Is that really the best method?  When I tried to bail from the group after seeing her true form, I got some RP laid out in my face about how I was paid for a job to perform (killing Iron Circle dudes to restore a Baron to his throne or something) and finishing that mission is the LAWFUL GOOD Thing to do.  Again, not being as familiar with RPing this alignment, it's harder for me to argue it.So my question is this... should I go to a church and seek out that help to slay a PC?  Not sure how that would sit well with the group as a whole...</blockquote>
