D&D 3E/3.5 [3.5] colour spray discrepancy

The listing of wiz/sor spells shows colour spray affecting 1d6 creatures a la 3.0, yet the full description states all creatures within the effect need to save.

Does the spell description trump the precis.

I'm with the desription. They may have just overlooked the blurb. Its obvious that they consiously changed the description. (I haven't read it FWIW)

I didn't read the SRD carefully yet, but I think there are other spells in the lists which are still 3.0 despite the fact that they have been changed (Shilelagh, for example). I guess the SRD have more errors than the books anyway...

They did fix the weird bit of the 3e spell, where a creature would be knocked out, wake up blind, then recover his sight and suddenly become stunned. :)

Although it seems like stunned mostly trumps blinded (stunned == no actions, nearly helpless; blinded == everybody's invisible to you, but you can at least try to do something), so I'm not sure why creatures shouldn't finish up being blinded rather than being stunned. Blinded seems like the less debilitating condition.
