D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Eberron TWF ranger ideas

Good catch! I originally made a double weapon wielder, then switched to spinning swords when I realized that there was no reason to stick with double scimitar anymore.

Just switch exotic weapon master with a level of scout.

Thanks all....my DM freaked a bit about this setup (he's an experienced player, but fairly novice DM), but this setup was so much fun in our first combat. Plus it was a welcome change from my other Eberron character (12 Bard, 5 Windwright Captain). Thank you very much!!

ps - If you're using the human I suggested above, consider taking three more levels levels of scout. At fifteenth level (ranger 2/fighter 4/tempest 5/scout 4) you could take Bounding Assault as your general feat and Swift Hunter as your scout bonus feat. You'd get three attacks on a spring attack with +2d6 skirmish damage each, as well as two skirmishable favored enemies.

Only problem with that (as our DM very astutely noticed during casual conversation) is that the character will then suffer the multi-classing XP penalty, unless you add a level of ranger in the middle, since the fighter counts as favored class for human as the highest.

Wow, you guys would be the first people I've met that have ever actually done that. Multiclass XP penalties are so rare in mmy experience that they can safely be called house rules...
