Rust Monster looks super cool!
Unfortunately, with my limited playing experience, I'm not sure I can pull that off... Or that my DM (also of limited experience) will allow that to happen, haha

My ten pages of text and handy dandy chart breaks it all down to be simple to understand!

Er, or not, could kinda just make it confusing. Skip all my additions and go stright to Arms & Equipment Guide, p.86, that says for 1000gp you can buy one, and an extra 1200gp you can have it trained.

Than jump to Arms & Equipment Guide p.129, Bag of Endless Caltrops for 2300gp. You can feed your mount forever.

Assume "Trained" means it won't eat your allies gear and weapons and things unless you order it to. Look over Handle Animal tricks and see that you can tell it "Come", "Heel", "Stay" and the like.

Seriously? Dandu posts wrong answers and two people give him XP; I post a link that's actually helpful and get none? Man, @#$%& you guys.

If that's how it works, let me try... Dont forget that you can't use slashing weapons while mounted unless you succeed on a DC 15 Ride check. Now, where's my XP?

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
`My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away".

Is that from Planet of the Apes?
