I notice the illustrators can't tell Regdar from Jozan. The illustrator must be a pansy elf -- all humans look alike.

I wonder if the Aasimar/Tiefling pic is in the PHB too, or if they just brought it over from the MM for the heck of it.

Actually, that is Regdar. His armor didn't come back from the cleaners that morning, so he had to borrow Jozan's.

It's the Pelor Amulet that really give it away... Notice how he weilds it like a bastard sword?

Jozan's a lot more dainty with his Holy Symbol.

Didn't see anything of interest in the 3.5e table there. Hopefully, the adventuring section is expanded to include some bits of handy info--for instance, we know how far the light shed by a given light source extends, but how far off can a given light source be spotted by other creatures?

well actually the caption would have you believe Lidda is Regdar; Jozan is Mialee; and Mialee is Lidda. Only Tordek is correct.

I can't help thinking that the DMG ToC would have been more interesting, since it was pretty clear that the PHB contents would be remaining the same in general (changing in the detail).

Ah well, not long to wait now!

WoTC is LAZY *cough* Why even spend the 3 seconds it took to type it in and place it on the website? I'd have never guessed they talk about the classes in the PHB! GASP!
