Originally posted by pinstrum: Hi, Just posted a question about a Stormcaster, which is currently potentially my preferred PrC for my first character (currently a Lvl 3 Wizard). Like I mentioned in that post this is the first time for a few of us and we have a fairly large party, so our DM is encouraing us to focus on things like flavor and RP. The other PrC that I found that initially grabbed me was the Incantantrix, for the line in the PGtF about them "disliking extraplanr intrusions", as this really fits in well with the setting/campaign we are on (which our DM has created himself). However, the class itself didn't really seem to have any abilites to do with Planes apart from that one single line - I've done a bit of searching, and the consensus appears to be that this is just text hanging over from an earlier version (3.0), and that the revised version is more a pure specialist in Metamagic I'm wondering if there are any 3.5 classes that pick up this flavor from the 3.0 Incantatrix and expands on it? our DM has said that we can use any 3.5 book apart from Draconomicon. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Originally posted by pinstrum: thanks - you've been awesomly helpful with a bunch of questions now, it''s definitely appreciated! it might be a little late for something like that Holy Fire build (which looks like it could be pretty fun to play, btw), as we're already into the game a few levels so not able to start over with a new build.
