Theophilus looks up at the retreating Hob and realizes that he can't quite cover that distance fast enough and looks to Isóriand. "Run him down and shut him up now! Ill be right behind you." He then retrieves the downed Hobs sword as he sinks his makeshift dagger into his gut and moves in the direction of the fleeing Hob but stays out of Isóriand's way. Isóriand charges down the hall, longsword held before him like a spear, quickly covering the distance between himself and the hobgoblin. As he nears, he thrusts the weapon forward in an attempt to skewer the foe. The wood elf knocks the hobbo's helmet from his head, splitting scalp and bone. The hobgoblin pitches sideways into the wall and then rolls to the floor in a slump. Lyryc picks up the dagger from the down hobbo and runs to help Isóriand, even though he won't be able to attack due to his actions. The divine bard whispers to himself, Gee, first I stop being a coward...and now I am going into close combat. I must be going through change. Isóriand and Lyryc are just in the corridor leading away from the entry chamber. Oswald, with a bemused expression on his face, leans against his halberd near the center of the room. "I'm impressed," the mercenary monk says. Back in the other room, Theophilus stands ready near the unconscious Ragg. The horrible noises from the northern hallway have given way to an oppressive silence. [sblock=OOC] Huzzah! [/sblock] [sblock=Combat Box] Isóriand: 1 lethal, 8 nonlethal. Theophilus: staggered; 12 nonlethal. Ragg: KOd, stabilized; 13 lethal. Lyryc: 4 lethal. Hobbo #1: dead; 2 lethal, 6 nonlethal. Hobbo #2: KOd & dying; 10 lethal, 6 nonlethal. Everyone Else: uninjured. Map is here. I didn't update it, however. [/sblock]
