My primary concern in any game I run is that people are having fun (myself included). Ambrus and Zurai, glad you've been enjoying things so far. :) Scurry:, did you have a new character concept you wanted to try out, or were you thinking of adding to your idea of a warlock character? ============================== End of Combat Breakdown Boarding House Siege: Huzzah, you've gone through your first battle practically unscathed -- largely due to completely shutting down the combat potential of the reave, in no small part thanks to Sindr's spells and Istvan's hideyness. Once the reave (literally) lost his maces, I thought to myself, "Well, old bean, we're quite effectively boned now, aren't we?" ;) I did forget one aspect of the VP / WP rule: the fact that, if a character takes Wound Point damage, they are fatigued and possibly stunned. I'll make sure to folloow through with that in the future. Ambrus:[sblock] I ruled the reave's Fade ability as Supernatural -- although, honestly, I don't have a whole lot of experience converting critters from 2nd to 3.x edition, so I'm open to the possibility that i'd be better as Spell-Like. "Fading" still takes one full round, so Istvan and Cang were able to take their Readied actions to attack it. Istvan would've had another chance to attack next round as well, since he has higher initiative, but I glossed over that part since the reave would have DR 10 / Magic while fading and Istvan does a maximum damage of 9 with 1d4-1 + 1d6.[/sblock] Experience Awards for Heinrich, Istvan, Pierce, and Sindr:[sblock]625 xp each.[/sblock] Dinah's Kip: Not a combat encounter per se, but it definitely had the potential to turn violent. Dire Lemming, you did a good job of having Anthony talk and beguile his way out of a tricky situation. Although, I have to say..."Hampton?" That'd be like naming your pet bull "Porterhouse". :D Experience Award for Anthony:[sblock]750 xp for you, sir.[/sblock]
