Shayuri: Let me answer your questions so we can get you going. :) [sblock]The Black Dogs used to be based in the seedier areas of the Lower Ward, where they had their hands in all sorts of typically nasty enterprises; muggings and murders-for-hire, acting as enforcers for slum lords; things of that nature. Most of their members are the dregs of the Doomguard and Anarchist factions, with a few Indeps and Xaositects scattered here and there. Although the Black Dogs only have about thirty or so fulll-fledged members, they've formed convenient alliances with other street gangs throughout the Hive and Lower Wards -- such as the Hellteeth and Back-Alley Shivs -- that effectively put their numbers at over one hundred. The leader of the Black Dogs is a dark-humored and preternaturally cunning tiefling who calls himself Guytrash. Rumor has it that he and his top enforcers used to serve as mercenaries in the Blood War before giving the fiends the laugh in Sigil, and Guytrash claims to be willing cuts deals with anyone -- baatezu or tanar'ri -- so long as their jink's good. About half a cycle ago, the Black Dogs were booted out of the Lower Ward and driven into the Hive by the Screaming Angels, a relatively informal group of bloods who were fed up with the Dogs. Some rumors attribute the Angel's success to tacit support by the Indeps and Ciphers, although its just as likely that the Screaming Angels won out through the popular backing of the locals. With the Dogs out of the Lower Ward, the ranks of the Angels slowly dissolved as most of the members returned to their lives. The ones who stayed were those with nowhere else to go, or who formed a familial bond with the group. Most of the members of the Screaming Angels come from the Indep faction, with a few Ciphers or Sensates here and there.
