Message: <blockquote data-quote="BiggusGeekus" data-source="post: 905384" data-attributes="member: 1014">The reason I didn't rate them is because I had a bit of an epiphamy/exuberant moment when I got them.  I'm very strict about my gaming budget.  $40/month.  Period.  If a product costs $41 I had better only have spent $39 the previous month or I don't get it.  I have to do this or I'll buy hundreds of dollars of stuff on an impulse.  I had gotten PDFs before, but only one at a time.So when I got these books, they added up to under $25.  For me this is like the undiscoverd country.  The dollar-to-entertainment ratio is just amazing.  That said, I find PDFs a little cumbersome.  I prefer a book.  Plus, you have to remember what  you're buying.  Potent Portals isn't going to have any monsters.  A Magical Medieval Society isn't going to have magic items.  Requiem for a God isn't going to help you build a castle.However, if you want a book on one of these topics I can't see how you could possibly go wrong in getting one.  But if I had to pick ...  I note that Monte's Requiem is currently on sale.  So, given the choice between the three, I'd act on his the first.</blockquote>
