Humans or other creatures camping in an Elven forest are alerted that the Elves are awake and it's time for you to make your presence known or move on. Most dark faeries are active at night and dislike daylight. As such, they know that if they can hear a Cooshee howl they've over stayed their welcome. Drow Elves have a saying, "Home before the Cooshees howl", meaning "We'll back gone before sunrise".</p><p></p><p><strong>Dragon Speech</strong></p><p><em>Dungeons and Dragons, Various Homebrew Worlds</em></p><p></p><p>Imagine the sounds of a lion's roar, a crack of thunder and an avalanche blending together and shaking the walls and ground. That's Dragon for, "Good Day to you". Dragon Speech is extremely difficult to understand and 10x harder to speak. Only Elves and similar long lived creatures have been able to translate Dragon and few are truly proficient. Drake speech is less complex and difficult then the tongue of their great cousins. By locating certain basic similarites, Elven and Gnomish scholars are well on their way to constructing a teaching method that will allow more people to communicate in this ancient and majestic language.</p></blockquote><p></p>
