[360] Playing on 1680x1050?

Does anyone here use the Xbox 360 on a Monitor with 1680x1050 Resolution (seems popular these times)?

I want to buy a new Monitor but it is important to me that I can run the 360 on it without scaling. I'm ok with it, if it uses only a part of the screen, but I hate the blur that results from scaling from a "wrong" Resolution...

Native 1080p resolution is 1920×1080. So that's your target if you don't want any scaling or stretching. The problem with the "blurriness" of non-native resolutions on LCDs though has to do with trying to interpolate pixels to arrive at at the non-native resolution, so if you can make the monitor take xbox output and display it at the native resolution of the monitor you probably shouldn't see blurriness. You might see somewhat more aliasing though.

The vast majority of 360 games run at 720p (or less) anyway.

Anyway, the choices you get with a VGA cable are:

640x480
848x480
1024x768
1280x720
1280x768
1280x1024
1360x768
1920x1080

Also bear in mind, PC widescreen monitors are 16:10, while widescreen TVs tend to be 16:9

That said, I have my 360 hooked up to a 19" 1440x900 monitor, and I really don't see any bluriness and the stretching of the picture isn't that noticeable
