Kobolds rule.&gt;&gt; I nearly took out a high level, high magic party with one beholder and his kobold minions, who were armed only with shortbows.•&nbsp; &nbsp; Have you noticed how many guys who never used even a bastard sword in 2nd edition now find the greatsword much more stylish?•&nbsp; &nbsp; Same for the greataxe?&gt;&gt; We had lots of bastard and two handed sword users in 2E.•&nbsp; &nbsp; CR = Cruelty rate (against DMs)?&gt;&gt; Well, for figuring XP, it was not too easy at first.&nbsp; But, I still just eyeball encounters ahead of time to see if it “feels right”</blockquote>
