I'm running a fey-based warlock who just hit third level. I've been agonizing over what to pick for his feat and thought the hive-mind might be of some aid. We use a house rule which allows the selection of a feat which one does not qualify for, it lying dormant until such time as you meet the prerequisites. This has served to make a hard choice harder. As it stands here are the leading choices: Leadership - won't kick in 'til 6th but can be a very strong feat. beguiling influence is coming for this character and it's a city-based campaign. If I go this way I'm going to try for a crafter cohort, so I won't have to burn extra feats to take advantage of imbue item. Extra Invocation - also won't kick i 'til 6th, but the an extra invocation, even a least, is tempting. Weapon Focus(ray) - having spent two feats on the EB already, I hesitate to throw in a third, but the EB does get used an awful lot True Believer - a feat from MIC that allows the activation of relic powers for certain items. There's an item, millenial chainmail, which I like and which would work with the flavor of the character. The feat has a minor daily saving throw bonus and wouldn't really kick in until I hit my 7th HD and find or have made the item in question. I'd have to get the item cleared with my DM before commiting to the feat, however. How could you have left out?!? - Let me know what I forgot and why I'm a dolt for doing so. Any other suggestions you have are welcome. I'm going the Binder/Hellfire route, though it'll be Feyfire in this case. Riven Medium Humanoid Hit Dice: 3d6+3 (14 hp) Initiative: +2 Speed: 30 ft., climb 20ft. Armor Class: 15 (+2 Dex, +3 mwk studded leather), touch 12, flat-footed 13 Base Attack/Grapple: +2/+3 Attack: Longspear +4 melee (1d8+1) Space/Reach: 5 ft./5 ft. Special Attacks: eldritch blast (2d6) Special Qualities: baleful utterance, spiderwalk Saves: Fort +3, Ref +4, Will +3 Abilities: Str 12, Dex 15, Con 13, Int 10, Wis 9, Cha 18 Skills: Bluff +11, Diplomacy +8, Intimidate +6, Knowledge(arcana) +2, Knowledge(arcana) +1, Spellcraft +4, Use Magic Device +12 Feats: Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot Alignment: Chaotic Good
