Monk - Meh. I know it's popular, I just never liked them. I welcome more people to take a shot though, since I might like ver.2. Barbarian - Yes, absolutely. I especially want to see a 3rd-party Martial Barbarian, as the Barbarian WotC seems to be building is more of a Primal PS + AE's Totem Warrior = Beast!!warrior. That's cool, but I prefer Conan types. Bard - Yes, and no. We know that the Bard is going to be in PHB2, and he sounds like exactly what I want already. Assassin - No. This is just a Rogue with a insta-kill Power. Just make the power; don't clog up the system with a whole new class. At the very most this is a Paragon Path. Necromancer - Yes, absolutely. Bladesinger - As an Arcane Melee Striker, maybe. But only so long as they don't call it that. Too much baggage. Eldritch Knight - No. Too close to Swordmage. A class will allow you to go either way, but you can't actually do both at the same time. You have to pick. Two classes I don't think there's a real need for: Duelist and Unfettered: these are Rogues without the Thievery skill. Not enough else there to justify a class. My list of combat classes includes: Enchanter Sha'ir Summoner/Demonologist Druid variants (there are so many ways to go with this class (Shifter, Greenbond, Storm-mage, etc), I doubt anyone will really step on each other's toes) But what I really want a 3PP to come out with are a list of non-combat Classes (and Roles).
