Seems like a great idea. I think SW works best when it feels very pulp era - and the Indiana Jones link certainly provides that option. I had a similar idea, but rather than being a distant future setting it was a distant past setting instead. The whole reawakening of the force might fit in with some of the ideas I had for that setting. My basic idea was that the force was new and not properly understood. There were no Jedi, Dark Jedi or Sith. The understanding of what led to the dark side, wnd what damage could be done by the dark side, was not fully undestood. As such as the game would develop players and their NPC friends could become more and more tainted by the dark side, perhaps search for redemption or ways to control the force so that the dark side doesn't consume them. Important to the premise of my game was that there were different ways to "manage" dark side corruption, with different factions prefering different methods. Some completely avoid anything that might lead them towards the dakside, others embrace it, some follow alternative strict ethical codes that allow them to use the dark side without losing their minds, others have developed techniques to flush their dark side taint away. I'm sure there could be more ideas if you sat down and thought about it a bit longer. I've not got Saga, so I don't know whether Dark Side corruption systems work well for this idea. I was quite a big WW player when I had this idea and was going to use the taint rules from Aberrant alongside modified psi powers from Trinity to represent force powers. I've not got D20 Aberrant so I don't know how well the taint rules work in that, but it might make a good starting point if you want to take this idea forward. Cheerio, Ben
