Should have saved my comment for a post instead of trying to squeeze it into the XP box :erm:

I was saying..I appreciate the "self management of complexity" comment by Rich. Its exactly why I'm picking up a few choice bits of essentials (heroes of the fallen lands, compendium, monster vault, dm kit maybe) and starting over with it as basic foundation- then adding in bits and pieces as more essentials products come out that catch my eye (Nentir Vale threats for example).
